Sandy Hewitt

My name is Sandy Hewitt and I’m an avid motorcycle enthusiast and blogger for MotorcycleYou.

Riding has been my passion since I first got my motorcycle license over 8 years ago.

Since then, I’ve logged tens of thousands of miles exploring this beautiful country from the seat of a bike.

I currently own three motorcycles – a Honda CBR600RR supersport, a BMW R1200GS adventure bike, and a Yamaha FJR1300.

This gives me a diverse stable to experience different kinds of riding.

I’ve ridden all over, from the twisting mountain roads in the Rockies to crossing the desolate deserts of Arizona and New Mexico.

As a blogger for MotorcycleYou, I get to combine my love of riding with my enjoyment of writing.

I write motorcycle reviews, tour guides, gear evaluations, and more.

Riding and testing the latest motorcycles and then sharing my experiences is a dream job.

The blog allows me to connect with fellow riders and provide helpful insights from my years of experience.

When I’m not out logging miles on two wheels, you can find me wrenching in the garage on project bikes.

I love the mechanical aspect of motorcycles and enjoy restoring vintage rides.

Being hands-on teaches me intricacies I can apply in my writing.

I’m looking forward to many more years of riding, writing, and connecting with the awesome motorcycle community.

The open road is my temple and motorcycles are my passion.

I feel blessed to ride, write, and inspire fellow enthusiasts along the journey.

If my years in the saddle have taught me anything, it’s that riding a motorcycle is one of life’s greatest joys.
